1-15-21 THOUGHTS

Each day God’s creation amazes me.  The largeness, the order, the beauty, all beyond my ability to absorb totally.  And then I look at me.  The eye, the brain, the heart, the breathing, the way I just work!  This awesome physical creation, wow! It seems obvious that man is the focus of it all.  Then there’s the spiritual side.  All the prophecy and teaching in God’s chosen people to bring us to “the death-burial and resurrection of  God’s Son.”  VICTORY FOR MAN!
“What is man that You take thought of him, And the son of man that You care for him?”                               I am awed!

Ps 8:1-9    O LORD, our Lord, How majestic is Your name in all the earth, Who have displayed Your splendor above the heavens! 2  From the mouth of infants and nursing babes You have established strength Because of Your adversaries, To make the enemy and the revengeful cease.
3 When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained; 4
What is man that You take thought of him, And the son of man that You care for him? 5  Yet You have made him a little lower than God, And You crown him with glory and majesty! 6  You make him to rule over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, 7  All sheep and oxen, And also the beasts of the field, 8  The birds of the heavens and the fish of the sea, Whatever passes through the paths of the seas.  9  O LORD, our Lord, How majestic is Your name in all the earth!

2Chron 6:18   "But will God indeed dwell with mankind on the earth? Behold, heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain You; how much less this house which I have built.
Ex 4:31   So the people believed; and when they heard that the LORD was concerned about the sons of Israel and that He had seen their affliction, then they bowed low and worshiped.
Today, may we lift up HIS MAJESTIC NAME in our hearts!
1Pet 3:15    but
sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always [being] ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence;

My Prayer:
Dear God we lift up your majestic name.  May we do that with more power and energy and focus in the future.  May your name and the name of Jesus the Christ come from us as we live in this world.  Empower us Oh God to see and speak.  Help us to be caught up in you Oh Lord.
In the name of our Lord Jesus          Amen
